Polish Minister of Sport and Tourism on Polish Soccer Skills training on National Stadium

On June 13, at the National Stadium, on the same field on which the Polish National Team had played their last match before the World Championships, the Polish Soccer Skills Team received their training!

The ending of the season for the Polish Soccer Skills Team was a unique event. Up to 300 young players took part in it, as their parents and friends cheered them on from the stands.

Witold Bańka, the Polish Minister of Sport of Tourism was the guest of honour during the event. The ceremony was also attended by Alicja Omięcka, chairwoman of PL 2012+, the operator of the National Stadium, as well as representatives of our partners: Adidas Polska, Sodexo Prestige Polska and Trawnik Producent.

What made a hit with the Polish Soccer Skills players was the presence of the famous Polish Youtuber Lachu. Mateusz Borek, a well-known Polish sports commentator and author of the book “Krótka Piłka”, currently on second place on the bestsellers’ list, was also present at the event. Parents and players had the opportunity to get a special dedication from the author.

Upon listening to the national anthem, the players took part in training and internal matches, in training with Oliver Fiest of the Bayern Munich academy and with Robert Maćkowiak, World Champion in athletics. Players and parents partook in a juggling competition while Adidas organized a speed test ball contest. Awards were given - golden bundles from Adidas, prizes from R-Gol, and rollers from OMS Roll. Three players were also honoured by the Dutch scouts and invited to Excelsior Rotterdam, a club from the Dutch Eredivisie.

In the end, the players had a match with the national team. The player team was joined by Witold Bańka himself, the Polish Minister of Sport of Tourism!

Special thanks for the Polish Football Association for allowing us to prepare this training on the National Stadium!

Training of the Polish Soccer Skills Team at the National Stadium has been supported by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism under the Sport Wszystkich Dzieci (All Children's Sport) program.

The Polish Soccer Skills Team was selected according to skill tests (the Soccer Skills PRO ID potentiometer) from among 5,000 participants of the Polish Soccer Skills camps.
