Seletion Team in England

Polish Soccer Skills Representation teams of year groups between U9-U16 have done a few days’ Reading FC tests in one of few English academies awarded with category I (it’s the highest mark in insular football), during which they were observed by scouts from several top British clubs.

Apart from trainings with recognized the British Isles’ trainers taking place in the facilities of Reading FC, trainings for PSS Representative were led by Peter Scott (the one who has conducted over 350 performances in Premier League in Fulham’ colours and currently is coaching Reading teams), and Jamie Carr among others (an ex-Representative of Ireland and a current Reading FC coach). We did not miss a chance of visiting this beautiful city, meeting an academy’s training course coordinator, who has presented all the tricks of the idea of the academy and most of all we played a series of test matches which can only mean one –we did keep our football spirit alive!

Naturally, the British Isles’ football is an unbelievably tough and physically demanding game.  Despite the fact that the Representatives do not play every day with each other and meet only twice per year, our players picked up the gauntlet and fought honourably with mostly older rivals which resulted both in victory and sometimes in defeat by London’ teams.

The understanding of the game as well as individual skills of Polish Soccer Skills Representatives made a favourable impression on the scouts who were observing our efforts which later resulted in inviting our 6 players for additional observations in order to include them in English teams in academies such as Everton or Reading FC . We are certain they will win the trainers over.

We congratulate our players on such an honourable presentation in front of the English club scouts and we strongly believe that the part of them will soon begin their adventure abroad after such great performances in England :)
